Ever since Fish Urban Dining opened a couple years ago in Press Plaza, my only complaint with the place was that the signage outside — an attempt to link the restaurant to urban graffiti — was way off the mark from what they were doing.
Actually, it was downright ugly. Nothing like the excellent food and atmosphere inside this former bank building, where President Woodrow Wilson used top floor office space one summer a century ago.
But that’s just history. And so is the ugly sign.
A couple weeks ago, owner Jim DiGilio made good on his promise to get a new one. Check out the photo above.
Looks great, Jim. Reminds me that I’m overdue for a tuna taco.
